Friday saw the final attendees register and then the morning meeting set the agenda for the day. We would start by visiting the Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson AFB. We explored the facility and viewed planes from all eras beginning with the first flying machines and continuing through wartime evolution such as the bomber that flew over Nagasaki and leading up to such modern examples of weaponry as the Stealth bomber. A few of us had a "private" tour courtesy of fellow Northeast member Larry G., a retired Army Blackhawk pilot and instructor. Thanks Larry for the insight gained from your distinguished career serving our country.
Following the tour we had a luncheon at the nearby golf club before setting out on a country drive that saw a good amount of wide open twisties in addition to an unending display of cornfields all around. Our ultimate destination would be the largest Lamborghini dealership in the United States where we would be hosted for dinner. But you will have to click on that link to see those festivities..........
